Israel Aquarium, Jerusalem
The Gottesman Family Israel Aquarium, Jerusalem, Israel’s very first aquarium, is dedicated to preservation, research, education, information and raising public awareness with regard to the sea and its shores. A visit to the aquarium will take you along a fascinating route of galleries and exhibits that emphasize Israel’s maritime habitats - the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, and even the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee.
The aquarium, different from anything you might associate with the land-locked city of Jerusalem, is a unique Israeli attraction that offers its visitors an opportunity to enjoy a spectacular underwater world, in a city usually not associated with the sea.
Dublin Pub, located a couple of steps from the hotel, is the third branch in Israel of the Irish Dublin chain.
Designed in a singular Irish style, the pub features an entrance resembling an authentic Irish street, a transparent floor revealing an ancient beer cellar, carved mahogany bar and the bar area itself, outfitted with authentic furnishings that evince the feeling that you’ve actually sat yourself down in a pub in Ireland. The seating is either on tall chairs complemented by raised tables, or around long tables in the style of knights of old, and there also are well-designed booths, for a sense of privacy.
Dublin Pub specializes in beers on tap - about 18 types out of a total of 70 different beers. Needless to add, the pub also offers other types of alcoholic beverages. The food menu, which has been adapted to complement the menu of alcohol, offers a variety of dishes that pair well with the alcohol the pub serves.
